Your Generation Meter Serial Number, often simply referred to as MSN, is a unique number allocated to your generating meter. Your 'MSN' will normally consist of both letters and numbers and will be located either on the front of the meter box itself or printed on a sticker, which will be attached to the meter.

Some Feed-In Tariff customers will have an additional meter to measure their exported units (please refer to your Feed-in Tariff contract to establish if you are paid a metered export tariff) or call us if you are in any way unsure.

FIT ID (optional)

What is my FIT ID and where would I find it? Your FIT ID number is a unique identifier generated by Ofgem when your installation is registered on Ofgem’s central FIT register. Your FIT ID number can be located on your FIT contract or is shown on the reverse of your FIT payment statement.
