  • Are you a pensioner or a low-income family who receives additional income support and lives in a ‘hard to treat’ home? If so, the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) initiative can help you. SSE can pay for improvements that make your home easier to heat so you can have a warmer and healthier home.

Many installations can be installed FREE of charge! What are you waiting for? Sign up for your FREE survey today by calling us to find out more on  0800 980 7536*.

    ECO Benefits

    Who is ECO aimed at?

If you are living on a limited income in a hard-to-treat home, you could qualify for FREE upgrades to your home’s heating and insulation. The aim is to make your home warmer and more comfortable – and affordable to heat.

    New heating for free

Thanks to SSE, you can have a home that’s warmer and healthier to live in – and with lower energy bills. There are so many ways we can make you feel more comfortable at home. For example, you could even get a complete, modern, efficient heating system – for free.

Does anyone you know qualify for free energy efficient installs^?

SSE can help you find out if you qualify for home improvements under the ECO scheme. You may even have family, friends or neighbours who would benefit. There’s a quick guide to the initiative's rules here, but we’re happy to discuss things with you over the phone too.

Find out more about the initiative or phone us on 0800 980 7537*.
